When I had to create an event description, It really helped me learn what It takes to put together an event, and make sure you have everthing it needs to be complete. There is alot that goes into planning an event, and I think I did a great job of describing how it will become a success.
SWOT Analysis
Doing a SWOT analysis on my event was a real eye-opener to see what exactly will be crucial and important to pay attention to, as I am planning my event. I was able to see what could be a possible threat to my event, and also what benefits I will have with the site where I am planning my event. I believe it as a great tool to use to help me break down my event even more.

Having goals for your event is very important and one of the main topics you will need to focus on as you plan your event, If you dont have goals, then you will not have a successful event. Working towards a goal is crucial and I was able to have multiple goals while planning my event.
The budget is the key to a successful event, and it can be tricky to balance it or have a profit at times. You need to make more revenue than you have expenses. In my event, I was able to have a tad more revenue than I did expenses, so I made a profit. It is important to do this because having a great event can lead to a large profit for your community.
While working on my sponsorship assessment, I learned quite alot about how many sponsors and sponsorships there should be, and why they are so crucial and important to your event. Having sponsorships will benefit you and your event greatly.
